As a result of expansion and strategic repositioning, we seek immediate Employment of the following exceptional individual s to join our existing team of more than 1,000 employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled checks on all Trucks
- Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of all Trucks in the company
- Maintain a service and maintenance record of all vehicles
- Ensure accurate tracking system is maintained and justified in the Truck management
- Process and ensure all Government regulatory requirements regarding fleet management are available and up to date
- Ensure compliance with all safety norms and industry regulations for all work processes
- Assign work areas and tasks to subordinates, supervise and ensure timely completion of same
- Liaises with the Purchasing department for spare parts and other repair equipments
- Ensure appropriate usage and handling of testing tools and repair equipments
- Conduct periodic appraisal of Drivers and other subordinates
Core Skills
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of subordinates especially Drivers
- Possess effective written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
- Must be a person of integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
- Possession of MBA will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy and familiarity with automated tracking system
- Minimum of 8 years experience working as a fleet management personnel 3 of which must be at a managerial level
