Key Account Managers (KAM 04/2011)

Location: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt
Key Responsibilities
  • Structured planning of all sales activities ensuring that, at all times, Fleet Masters’ products and services are being actively marketed and sold to as wide an audience as possible. This includes a rolling forecast of sales and activities in the market identifying performance shortfalls and recommending/implementing corrective actions
  • To manage the sales pipeline within CRM in order to deliver annual plan, concentrating on key account management, renewals and new business development, including lead generation and prospecting to develop Fleet Masters’ business with car importers, vehicle finance/leasing companies, web portals and other automotive related companies.
  • To obtain and effectively communicate information on Fleet Masters and competitor performance to aid development of future policies and business plans.
  • Participate in development & execution of service delivery strategy, operations plan and budget, including staff requirements, to ensure revenue targets are achieved with strong focus on wallet targets
  • Develop tactical plan for the assigned team to achieve corporate and service delivery objectives and to enhance customer satisfaction in the areas of quality & delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree at a level not below a lower second. MBA will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 6 years post NYSC experience and not less than 3 years in similar role in corporate sales with expertise in long sales process and cycles
  • Ability to build and sustain long term relationship with clients and strategic partners at senior management level is essential for this role.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you must have great negotiation and closing skills
  • A background in outsourced accounts, tender writing with proven track record, and exposure to contracting sole or dual supply business will definitely be an advantage.
